The house is coming along ....

Our house is really taking a turn toward completion and I couldn't be more thrilled!!
Here is a few pictures that I took for things that have come along so far.

Our Sleepy boy sleeping his crib for nap-time that is now in his room!!!!
The entryway of Hunter's room!!

Hunter's room
My husband thought it would be awesome to find a sign that said "All Because Two People Fell In Love" and put it up about his bed and much to our surprise we found one last night at Ross for $4!!!! What a blessing! It's now my favorite And how true!!
Hunter's Room
We really enjoy sitting in that Glider. Talking, singing, praying and rocking him goodnight is just so peaceful in his new room!
My hallway with my wall collage!!
Entry way of the front door
Living room
made my curtains and we bought a new clock!! I love it!
Living room
Main part of my kitchen
Boy oh Boy, I love my red wall!!!
(I think my kitchen looks like a country cottage)
One side of my kitchen
my dining room
need to hang that beautiful mirror still..
Here are still some of the boxes/misc things that we need to either hang up on the walls, pack away in our shed or find a place for. These boxes will probably go into our spare bedroom until I figure out exactly where I want things. I don't want to just throw things up on a wall before knowing if I really like them there. Looks like a lot but you should have seen what we began with!!

We still have much to do and organize but the house has come A LONG way and we are so thrilled to now be able to enjoy and relax in our house and take the rest of the boxes at a slower pace.

Well I'm off to spend some time with my two loves! Have a blessed memorial weekend!!!

My heart weeps...

Good morning beloved's,

My heart this morning is overflowing with gratitude and thankfulness to my Savior! Yesterday, I got to spend some quality time with a sweet sister in christ and let me just tell you that I came away from it SO ENCOURAGED and filled! It is awesome to have an older woman to go to and ask Godly advice from and help to encourage her as well!

We started to talk about the grace and mercies of God. I shared with her how the Lord can use ANYTHING to encourage us in his word and bring us to our knees. The tool that I'm talking about is a song that the christian rapper LaCrae wrote called "Breathin' to Death". I am one of those people who has to be able to understand and listen to every single word of a song and if i can't then I just can't listen. I love Rap but sometimes it's just so fast I feel like I can't grasp a single word. However, Lacrae does an amazing job in clarity and boldness!!

The verse that Hit me hard was:
I'd rather eat flies and maggots instead of bread
and it's killing me slow but I cant get it through my head
you were stabbed you were murdered
and for me is why you bled
but I spit on your bloody face as If I never cared
And Lord how dare I compare my pain
your father turned his back
and you were left to hang
I don't know why you did it that I cant explain
how can you love this sinner whose desecrated your name
Lord I deserve the flames

I sit amazed that I WOULD rather sin and get my selfish way only to be getting things that are not going to satisfy or last forever! The Lord suffered and was beaten beyond recognition for me and day in and day out I continue to fail him and "spit" in his face. I am so thankful that He is a forgiving and loving father who doesn't expect Perfection but repentance and Obedience.
Walking with Christ isn't the easy road but it is a road that is WORTH every step.

Do we long to satisfy ourselves? Or do we long to see Christ and worship him?

Romans 12:2
"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect."

Please keep me in your prayers for seeking God's word and being Obedient to him. My desire is to live my life for Christ, share the Gospel and to uplift and encourage my family.

Rejoicing In the Lord for his Mercies!

8 month pictures

This will be a quick blog today. I promise to update everyone just as soon as I have several minutes to sit down at one time. The House is coming along quite nicely and things are finally starting to flow more at our house. We still have much to unpack but I'm letting it all go slowly so that I can enjoy my family and not get too stressed. Please pray that I can just not worry about all the clutter.
Here are a few of my favorite pictures I took of Hunter for his 8 month Birthday! (sorry I'm almost 2 weeks behind on it)

My Favorite
Staring out the window
Eating his ducky
Yelling at the duck and was D.O.N.E with pictures! =D
I love that little stare!!

Rejoicing in the beautiful day the Lord has made!!

I have always wanted a red wall!!
Hunter's Room
Our Wash Room
Isn't it so cute painted! It makes me smile so BIG!
We are going to dip our hands in tan paint and put our handprints on the wall under our "Home Sweet Home" sign!! =D

We have had the MOST busy week BUT have gotten so much accomplished! PRAISE THE LORD!
our house is ALMOST complete. We only have our room, a second coat of paint on the guest room and the 2 walls in the kitchen left to paint! I am soooo excited. We will probably be moving in this weekend! What a wonderful Mother's Day gift!!

AND

Jarrod and I went to the flea market yesterday afternoon and we bought some Faux wood blinds for our house that only cost us $22 dollars total for 3 panels!! (72X61) we had three large windows in the house that we needed to get blinds for and not to mention were going to cost us an arm and leg to get and the Lord provided us with the ones we loved!!!
we still have have 9 more faux wood blinds to get but this just dropped our cost DRAMATICALLY!!!

The Lord has been so sweet to us during this whole process!!

All My Praise is to God!!
